Founded in
1972 and is still run by the same
Two Founding Member's Sons.
Knight Bodies specialise in the manufacture of Truck Bodies and Trailers such as Enclosed Chromodek and aluminium, Tautliner, Dropside, Flatdeck load bodies, Truck trailers of various varieties many more custom built variations.
We also offer a repair, re-build and refurbishment
services to existing/new customers and for insurance claims.
We are fully SABS homologated to manufacture all types of bodies and trailers for most truck brands.
Our factory facility consists of
20 working bays, preparation bays and a spray booth and all raw materials are cut and bend on-site with our machinery. We also have
ample storage space for trucks and trailers that need to be towed and await authorizations. The premise's is secured with
electric fencing and motion sensors with armed response.
Knight Bodies services and Manufactures for various Industry Role Players including Imperial, Unitrans, Super Group and most major truck dealerships and is a proud member of the Retail Motor Industry Southern Africa and South African Vehicle and Body Builders Association and therefore complies strictly with homologation, SABS and N.A.T.I.S requirements.
